Custom Drone Payloads,
Engineered for the Job
Off-the-shelf drones only take you so far. When the mission is specialized — cleaning solar farms, servicing high-rise facades, or dropping fire-suppression balls onto flames people can't safely reach — you need a payload built around the real-world task, the platform, and the operating environment. We design and develop custom drone payloads from concept to working hardware.
Beyond Generic Equipment
Every serious drone application eventually hits the limits of generic equipment. A payload that isn't matched to your drone's lift, balance, power, and control system creates safety risk, poor endurance, and unreliable results. A purpose-built payload does the opposite: it fits the platform, respects its limits, and is engineered around the specific outcome you're trying to achieve.
Our team brings hands-on mechanical design and product-development engineering to the drone space. We think in terms of the whole system — weight and center of gravity, mounting and vibration, power and control integration, the actual delivery or cleaning mechanism, and how the operator uses it in the field. The result is payloads that are practical to fly, safe to operate, and genuinely fit for purpose.
Full Mechanical Design & Development
From concept and CAD to prototype and refinement — complete mechanical engineering ownership.
Platform-Aware Integration
Payloads designed around your drone's lift, balance, power, and control interfaces.
Mission-First Engineering
We start from the task and work backward to the hardware, not the other way around.
Iterative Prototyping
Build, test, refine — so what you deploy actually works, not just on paper.
Documentation & Manufacturability
Drawings and specs so the payload can be built, maintained, and reproduced.
System-Level Thinking
Weight, CG, mounting, vibration, power, control, and operator use — all considered together.
Specialized Payloads for Specialized Missions
Solar Panel Cleaning Payload
Solar farms lose real output to dust, sand, and grime — and manual cleaning at scale is slow, costly, and often unsafe on large or elevated arrays. A drone-mounted cleaning payload lets you service panels faster and reach areas that are difficult to access on foot. We design cleaning payloads engineered around the drone's carrying capacity and stability, with the delivery mechanism matched to your panels and site conditions. The goal: effective cleaning, safe operation, and minimal downtime for the array.
Facade Cleaning Payload
Cleaning the glass and cladding of tall buildings traditionally means cradles, ropes, and significant safety exposure. A drone-based facade cleaning payload offers a faster, lower-risk way to service high and hard-to-reach surfaces without putting people at height. We develop payloads that carry the cleaning system while keeping the drone stable and controllable close to a vertical surface — accounting for the reach, the delivery mechanism, and safe standoff from the building. Built for high-rise and complex facades where conventional access is difficult or expensive.
Fire-Suppression Ball (Fireball) Payload
Some of the most dangerous fires are the ones people can't safely get close to — high-rise floors, warehouses, fuel or chemical stores, and remote or rugged terrain. A drone-mounted fireball payload carries fire-extinguishing balls to the fire and releases them on target, so a first response can reach the flames without putting a person in harm' way. We design and develop the mechanical payload that holds the ball(s) securely in flight and releases them reliably on the operator's command, engineered around the drone's lift and balance so the aircraft stays controllable throughout.
Other Custom Payloads
Beyond these, we develop payloads for a range of specialized missions — spraying/agriculture, inspection sensors, delivery/dropping mechanisms, spreading/seeding, lifting, custom sensor mounts, and more. If you have a task that standard drones can't do, describe it to us and we'll assess whether a custom payload is the right solution — and tell you honestly if it isn't.
Our 5-Step Process
Define the Mission
We start with the real task, environment, and the drone platform you fly (or plan to fly), plus any regulatory constraints.
Concept & Feasibility
We assess weight, balance, power, and integration limits before committing to a design — so you know early whether it's viable.
Design & Model
Full mechanical design and CAD, with the mounting, mechanism, and integration worked out in detail.
Prototype & Test
We build and iterate, testing against the real operating conditions the payload will face.
Refine & Document
You receive a working, refined payload plus the drawings and specifications to build, maintain, and reproduce it.
Capability Beyond Off-the-Shelf
We support clients who need capability beyond what off-the-shelf drones provide. Whether you're adding a new service line, solving an access or safety problem, or productizing an idea, we can help take it from concept to working payload.
Drone Operators
Adding new service capabilities beyond standard drone operations.
Service Companies
Solving access or safety problems with custom payload solutions.
OEMs & Integrators
Productizing payload ideas from concept to working hardware.
